Abstract

Among its functions, SE-UNA-SUS has organizational support for the activities of the UNA-SUS System, monitoring and encouraging the participation of universities and other providers of educational services, as a way of progressively expanding the offer of courses and the number of vacancies. on a scale compatible with SUS demand. In this study, we sought to analyze whether the motivation for SE-UNA-SUS to become a producer of courses would be linked to motivations of financial self-sustainability. To this end, interviews and document analysis were carried out, considering Bardin's content analysis technique and performing the following analyzes of the Iramuteq Software: Statistics, Specificities and AFC, Classification (Reinert's Method), Similitude and Descending Hierarchical Classification. The results showed that the SE, in addition to the attributions described in the Ordinance, became a laboratory for innovation in technology and education, serving as a model for the other institutions of the Network and that the production of EAD courses was not intended to guarantee greater financial sustainability.
