Resumo

Objetivou-se analisar a relação entre atividade física e o tratamento da hipertensão, ressaltando a importância do profissional de educação física na orientação e direcionamento deste tratamento. O percurso metodológico baseou-se numa abordagem qualitativa constituída por 15 hipertensos cadastrados em um projeto oferecido pelo Corpo de Bombeiros definido como grupo da Melhor Idade, no município do Crato-Ce-Brasil. Para tanto, utilizou-se como técnica de coleta de dados, a entrevista direcionada aos grupos de hipertensos que praticavam atividade física de forma regular. Com finalidade de organização do material obtido nas entrevistas, realizou-se uma análise do conteúdo dos mesmos, que permitiu a identificação de temas e construção das seguintes categorias: 1) Hereditariedade, preocupações e estilo de vida: a percepção dos hipertensos quanto às causas da Hipertensão Arterial; 2) Prática de exercício físico orientado: instrumento de prevenção e promoção a pacientes hipertensos; 3) Benefícios da Atividade Física: a importância da percepção dos hipertensos; 4) Revelando a importância da continuidade das práticas de exercício. Desse modo, considerando que para uma efetividade do controle, prevenção e promoção de pacientes hipertensos é necessário que se haja uma interação entre professor/paciente de forma a proporcionar, além dos benefícios das atividades, a motivação para continuidade do tratamento. Para tanto, cabe ao profissional de educação física enxergar sua importância quanto o seu papel na orientação, acompanhamento e promotor de saúde no tratamento de patologias, como a hipertensão, para que possa efetivar e desvelar as práticas de exercícios físicas como instrumento indispensável no controle desta patologia.

 

ABSTRACT - The objective was to examine the relationship between physical activity and treatment of hypertension, underscoring the importance of physical education teachers in guidance and direction of this treatment. The methodological approach was based on a qualitative approach consisting of 15 hypertensive patients enrolled in a project offered by the Fire Department as a group defined the Golden Age, in the municipality of Crato-Ce-Brazil. To this end, we used the technique to collect data, the interview was focused on groups of hypertensive patients who were physically active on a regular basis. With the purpose of organizing the material obtained in interviews, conducted an analysis of their content, which allowed the identification of themes and construction of the following categories: 1) heredity, and lifestyle concerns: the perception of the causes of hypertension Hypertension, 2) Practical exercise training: a tool for prevention and promotion hypertensive patients, 3) Benefits of Physical Activity: the importance of awareness of hypertension, 4) Revealing the importance of continuing the practice of exercise. Thus, considering that for an effective control, prevention and promotion of hypertensive patients is necessary if there is an interaction between teacher / patient in order to provide, in addition to the benefits of activities, the motivation for continuing care. To do so, it is the physical education teachers see their importance and their role in guiding, monitoring and promoting health in the treatment of diseases such as hypertension, so you can carry and to reveal the practices of physical exercise as an essential tool in controlling this pathology.
